Asset Manager - Dublin - Wind/Solar/Battery Storage!


My client is a leading player in the I have partnered with in asset management business operating in Europe’s clean energy transition. Today, they manage clean energy projects in Europe on in wind, solar and battery storage. Over the past 10 years, they have successfully exited these investments for net proceeds of over €1bn.


Their Asset Management division excels at leveraging advanced monitoring systems and data analytics to ensure maximum up-time and optimal return on investment for their clients. As part of their growth plans, they are looking to expand their team with skilled professionals in Asset Management and O&M. This presents a unique opportunity for you to contribute your expertise and play a key role in their continued success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of renewable energy assets, including wind farms, solar parks, and other renewable energy facilities.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimise performance, minimise downtime, and maximise profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the performance of assets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, landowners, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead asset enhancement initiatives, such as performance improvements, technical upgrades, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into asset performance, operational challenges, and investment opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technologies and operations, including wind, solar, and energy storage systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement asset management strategies to optimise performance and maximise value.
  • Excellent analytic skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and financial models.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the renewable energy industry.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
