A very good client of JD Ross Energy is looking to add an eager, proactive land scout to their team in the West of Germany. Overall successful in PV and BESS projects in Europe and various regions in Germany, you have the chance to join a dynamic environment where you will focus on acquiring land and liaising with important stakeholders! You will join a business which really allows you to put your ideas in to practice, trusts you, and rewards your successes.


What will you do?
  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land suitable for PV & BESS renewable energy projects.
  • Analyse market trends and legislative changes that may impact land acquisition and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Lead negotiations with landowners, agents, and other parties for land rights and acquisitions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, local communities, governmental bodies, and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct financial feasibility analyses for potential land acquisitions.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure that land acquisition timelines are synchronized with project milestones.
  • Identify potential risks associated with land acquisition and develop mitigation strategies.


What do you need?
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully securing land for renewable projects OR real-estate projects.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of the energy industry.
  • Experience in community participation and engagement.
  • Proactive approach and motivation to be an active part of the energy transition in Germany.
