About the Role

• You will be responsible for managing the Grid Connection activity and AEMO and NSP process.
• Your role will involve developing project implementation plans, working closely with consultants on grid connection studies and applications, and supporting project development.
• You will be responsible for technical support throughout the project from feasibility studies through to commissioning.
• You will lead the GPS and CA meetings, so your expertise in Connection Applications, supporting the development of GPS and ensuring compliance with NSP and AEMO requirements is essential.
• You will collaborate with the wider project team to ensure the requirements, costs and time frames associated with grid connection are communicated and understood fully.
• You will contribute to the OEM selection process.

 
About You

• Strong communicator and ability to maintain and build relationships with external stakeholders including AEMO, NSPs and OEM
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in connecting projects to the NEM through AEMO (solar and BESS experience is highly desirable)
• You will have power systems modelling experience, ideally Solar and BESS projects with PSSE and/or PSCAD and/or PowerFactory.
• Solid understanding of the NER regulatory framework
