JDRoss have partnered with long term client of ours who are looking for as our Senior Technical Advisors for cable projects. A unique business who have been delivering engineering solutions for marine cables over the last 20 years.

With offices in the UK and Europe, this will be a key role within the within the business focusing on supporting the clients in cable design, management or execution. You would be travelling when required to the offices in Germany, UK, Netherlands or Denmark.

They’re a small agile business who have intentionally stayed small in order to deliver the highest quality service from their expert in house staff.

What you will be doing

• You will provide high quality technical advice and guidance on our projects, helping clients forward.
• You utilise your years of relevant experience, specifically in offshore projects, to drive innovation and optimize project outcomes.
• You apply your academic engineering background to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, both remotely and at client offices, to ensure seamless project execution.

Your experience

• You have 7+ years of relevant experience in the offshore cable / pipeline installation sector.
• Your academic engineering-level education (or similar qualification) ensures you are the go-to person in your field of expertise.
• Clear communication skills in order to be able to engage with clients effectively
• Ability to work independently with a problem solving attitude. This client offer the freedom to manage your own schedules. They are looking for experienced professionals who can add their own expertise.
