Site Manager
€70000 per annum

My client is an energy company, founded by a experienced management team with proven entrepreneurial, commercial, and technical success where they develop, design, construct, operate, fund and maintain multi-technology assets to enable an acceleration toward zero carbon for energy users.


Due to continued and sustained growth, we require an experienced Site Manager to support a range of renewable projects across Ireland including 1MW to 20MW heatpump projects and 300KW to 50MW solar rooftop projects. The successful candidate will be a responsible for the hands-on project management from initial design through to commissioning and post-installation support.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations at renewable energy project sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, including installers, technicians, contractors and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, proactively identifying and addressing any issues to maintain project integrity and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site PSCS documentation.
  • Implement, maintain and enforce good on site QEHS practises.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to drive project success and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify risks, issues, and actions throughout the life cycle of the project.Manage site issues/objections through to their resolution.
  • Work closely and report to PM and senior management ensuring clear communication.
  • Flexibility to travel is required.
  • Working to KPI’s.




Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of wind or solar energy projects preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve complex issues and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Electrical Background/Trade or relevant industry experience is essential.
  • Previous Site Supervision/Management is required of at least 2+ years.
  • Full Driving License.
  • Irish Construction requirements knowledge particularly around EHS.
