Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced and results-driven FP&A Manager to join the finance team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategies, providing insights that drive decision-making and supporting the mission to lead the green energy revolution. This si a key appointment in the team and will be followed by an expansion of the team over time.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CA, or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, within the energy sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
  • A commitment to sustainability and understanding of the renewable energy landscape is highly regarded.
