JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to work in the distribution design space, for our client who is a design & project management consultancy in the renewable energy and power sector.

Responsibilities:

Review and submit design changes as required for the life of the project.
Collaborate with the Engineering Services team to ensure design and drafting activities always support customer expectations.
Provide the Customer with proactive communications and regular updates.
Ensure outcomes consistent with Stakeholder needs.
Strive to achieve the highest level of design quality for every project, ensuring quality assurance process is followed at all times.
Support pre-sales and project initiation activities.

About you:

Minimum of 2 years experience in developing electrical designs.
Overhead line and underground design experience, upto 66kV.
A solid grasp of the project management discipline, capable of simultaneously managing safety, scope, quality, schedule, and cost, for a given project.
Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, Perfectlite and AGI32.
Self-motivated and the willingness to operate autonomously at times as well as a team leader
Experience in the use of network GIS systems. (Desirable)
Electrical Engineering Degree.
