JD Ross Energy are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to work in the transmission & distribution design space, for our client who is a leading EPC in the power sector.

Responsibilities

Be a specialist in transmission & distribution network design in accordance with SA Power Networks standards.
Complete design projects including Overhead and Underground works, Sub-transmission exp desirable.
Ensure and enhance quality assurance processes for all team projects.
Training and supporting engineers to help them develop.
Actively develop scope and engage with stakeholders.
Experience in preparing designs, material lists, estimating connection costs, and securing customer approvals.

About you:

3 years of Transmission & Distribution networks experience (SA Power Networks preferable).
Overhead line and underground design experience, upto 132kV. (275kV desirable).
Familiar with AutoCAD, PLS-CADD & Poles n' Wires.
Underground power network design (including subdivisions).
Comfortable communicating with stakeholders.
Electrical Engineering Degree.
Valid drivers license.
