JDRoss are working with a leading provider of groundworks and civil engineering services who have just won work on one of the biggest construction projects in Europe.

The are currently seeking a planner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of groundworks projects, with a focus on cable routes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using P6 Primavera for project scheduling and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using P6 Primavera.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Analyse project requirements and develop detailed work plans to ensure timely completion of groundworks projects.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a planner in groundworks or construction projects, with a focus on cable routes or substations.
• Proficiency in P6 Primavera is essential.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
