Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

I'm working with an award-winning energy consulting firm who's just celebrated their 50th year in business, that provides full-service MEP with a sustainability mission. We're looking for talented Sr. Electrical Engineers to work on decarbonization projects for name brand name clients across Illinois. (UChicago, University of Illinois, Argonne National Lab, Glenbrook Hospital)

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience.
• Must be a Degreed Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in identifying energy efficiency measures and savings.
• Experience with designing electrical systems for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computer drafting, including components of plan views, sections, one-line diagrams, elevations, details, schedules, etc.
• Develop a working knowledge of technical specifications, the design-bid-build, design-bid, design-assist, Division 1 documents, etc.
• Perform calculations understanding the necessary lighting levels, fixture selection, lumen package selection, emergency lighting design, and calculation planes.
• Operate as a team player, developing positive work relationships and contributing to the group’s efforts to achieve goals.
