Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

I'm working with an award-winning energy consulting firm who's just celebrated their 50th year in business, that provides full-service MEP with a sustainability mission. We're looking for talented Sr. Electrical Engineers to work on decarbonization projects for name brand name clients across the NYC metro area. (NYU, The MoMa, Columbia University)

Requirements:

• At least 6+ years of experience.
• Must be a Degreed Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in identifying energy efficiency measures and savings.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computer drafting, including components of plan views, sections, one-line diagrams, elevations, details, schedules, etc.
• Develop a working knowledge of technical specifications, the design-bid-build, design-bid, design-assist, Division 1 documents, etc.
• Perform calculations understanding the necessary lighting levels, fixture selection, lumen package selection, emergency lighting design, reflectance, and calculation planes.
• Operate as a team player, developing positive work relationships and contributing to the group’s efforts to achieve goals.
