Title: Sr. Mechanical Designer
Location: NYC

I'm working with an award-winning energy consulting firm who's just celebrated their 50th year in business, that provides full-service MEP with a sustainability mission. We're looking for talented Sr. Mechanical HVAC Engineers to work on decarbonization projects for name brand name clients across the NYC metro area. (NYU, The MoMa, Columbia University)

Requirements:

• At least 6+ years of experience.
• Must be a Degreed Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in identifying energy efficiency measures and savings.
• Experience with commercial HVAC optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical (HVAC) design for a variety of projects, such as buildings and facilities (laboratories, hospitals, higher education, and other commercial and institutional projects)
• Work with commissioning engineers and lead efforts for building infrastructure reviews and retro-commissioning opportunities that are focused on energy conservation and improved operation
• Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
• Meet project schedules and perform work within budgetary constraints
