JDRoss have partnered with a leading IPP in renewable energy who work on solar, wind and battery storage projects across Europe.

Currently they are looking for a financial planning analyst to join their team in Romania. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the whole business and work on finance across multiple countries (Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis and maintain financial models to support ongoing budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare monthly variance reports, offering clear explanations and recommendations for necessary corrective actions.
• Assist in the creation of quarterly reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support the annual budgeting cycle by collecting inputs from various departments, analysing and consolidating data, conducting review sessions with budget owners, and ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive financial plan.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships across different functions to track performance and provide accurate budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Deliver actionable insights and analysis to aid long-term strategic planning and support informed decision-making within the organization.
• Implement best practices to ensure precise reporting and identify opportunities for enhancing existing processes, systems, and controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree and/or qualification in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in financial modelling is preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
