Who is it?
Our client is a European energy producer, active for over 15 years and a market leader in their domestic market. specialize in developing, financing, building, and operating solar projects. They also own and operate 300 MWp of assets internationally and have more than 1,800 MWp of projects under construction and development. With years of experience in the Dutch market, they develop and buy projects with multiple RTB, under construction, and in development in various stages of the cycle.


The Role:

They are now growing their Dutch team exponentially, currently in their office in Utrecht, with a project developer who will be working on solar, storage, and hybrid projects, while also exploring offtake options.


What will you do?

• Identifying and analysing locations in the Netherlands and assessing project opportunities.
• Establishing and maintaining contact with communities, municipalities, and energy cooperatives.
• Work closely with the design team to provide them with relevant information for tailored solutions.
• Create and manage proposals, as well as handle negotiation processes.
• Mapping possibilities for off-grid options and grid connections.
• Evaluate needs and possibilities for other solutions with environment taken into account, such as agri-PV, battery, hybrid projects, EV-charging, etc.
• Apply for and acquire permits and prepare SDE++ applications.

What do you need?

• 1+ years of experience in the renewable project space in the Netherlands.
• Stakeholder management skills, project management skills, and excellent communication.
• Ideally understanding of policy and regulation in the Netherlands.
• Dutch speaking.
• Ability and desire to work in a scale-up environment with a lean team.
• True dedication to providing renewable energy solutions.
• Ability to come in to office in Utrecht 2-3 days a week.
