Role Overview:
I am seeking a skilled Tax Accountant who is passionate about renewable energy and sustainability. You will play a key role in managing and optimising tax strategies for a growing portfolio, ensuring compliance, and providing insights.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all tax-related tasks, including preparation, filing, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimise financial performance.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure tax efficiency in all projects and transactions.

• support business development teams in structuring renewable energy projects from a tax-efficient standpoint.

• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

 
Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualification highly desirable.
• Proven experience in tax accounting
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to stakeholders.
